LIVIA MUSCAN ( Learning Assistant)

 

What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about this year? 

I started earlier this year as a learning assistant in primary level classes. I am most excited to get to know the people I work with - students and staff alike.

 

What did you do previously? Before working at BHCS, I had about one year of home duties, and before that I worked in pathology.  

 

What do you like to do for fun? For fun I like to read books, watch youtube, swim in a pool or go to the beach.

 

BETHANY BLAKEMORE (Learning Assistant)

 

What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about this year? 

My role at BHCS is as a Learning Assistant across all of Middle School. I am excited to get to know the students and have a positive impact on their learning to see them grow both academically and socially. 

 

What did you do previously?

I graduated from Donvale Christian College in 2021 and have been working in various Childcare settings since then. For the last year in particular I have been working in After School Care. 

 

What do you like to do for fun?

I love to play Netball and I play in both a Womens and a Mixed Team. I also love the performing arts and I am an assistant Drama teacher with my local theatre academy. I especially love spending my school holidays leading on camps where I get to connect with children and young people and help them grow.

 

ANNIE SCOTT (Learning Assistant) 

 

What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about this year?

I am a learning Assistant for Year 6, I’m excited to try something new.

 

What did you do previously?

I was a pediatric nurse.

 

What do you like to do for fun?

For fun, I love going camping with my family, I love dancing and I LOVE the snow!

 

 

KAHLI HUMBERT (Junior School Intern) 

What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about this year? 

 

I have joined the team at BHCS as a junior school intern. I am an extra pair of hands in classrooms all throughout the junior school. I am excited to work alongside children and help them learn and grow this year.

 

What did you do previously?

Prior to this, I finished Year 12 at BHCS in 2021, and the past 18 months I have been working as an instructor at Treetops Adventure in Belgrave. I also have been doing a lot of volunteering in my church, with the kids and youth ministries as well as the worship team.

 

What do you like to do for fun?

I enjoy going for walks in nature, whether that is in the forest or at the beach. I enjoy mountain biking and just about anything outdoors. I also love spending time with my friends and family. 

 

DANIEL THAMBIRATNAM (Finance & Payroll Officer) 

 

What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about this year? 

My role at BHCS is Finance & Payroll Officer, taking over from Alison Crocker.  I am very excited about the new challenges and learning opportunities that this role will offer me, and the chance to work with an amazing group of people who are warm, friendly and have the same faith beliefs that I do.

 

What did you do previously?

I previously worked in finance and customer service for a company called Uniting VicTas which is a not-for-profit organisation that assists people who are elderly or have disabilities.  I enjoyed my 14 years there but decided it was time for a change.

 

What do you like to do for fun?

Outside work I enjoy reading, watching movies and cricket, attending Church, and spending time with family & friends.
