In Mathematics we are learning about Symmetry. We had lots of fun developing and understanding symmetry.
We learnt that lines of symmetry are not only vertical and horizontal and also that a shape can have more than one line of symmetry.
It was great fun walking around the school and looked for things in nature and man made items that are symmetrical.
We then drew the opposite side of pictures to show how they are symmetrical.
On Thursday we investigated the effect of one-step slides, turns and flips, by tracing our hands and showing the different translations.
