Project Kindness - Grade 6 Leaders

Project Kindness Launch

We are excited to share that our Grade 6 leaders will be launching a student-driven initiative, Project Kindness, beginning next week and running through to the holidays.

As part of this initiative, our leaders will be actively “catching” and recognising students demonstrating acts of kindness in the playground. 

Each week, a Grade 6 leader will award a badge to a student who has displayed this positive behaviour. All recognised students’ names will be collected across the week and acknowledged on a slide at assembly.

To support this work, Grade 6 leaders will be circulating throughout the school during morning tea and lunchtime to observe and recognise these positive actions.

This initiative provides a wonderful opportunity for our senior students to lead and promote a culture of kindness across the school. We look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have within our community and encourage everyone to celebrate and support their efforts.
