Principal's Message

Welcome to Week 3 of Term 2 at Leongatha Primary School!

Dear Families

It’s shaping up to be an exciting and engaging week for our students, with a number of special events and learning opportunities across the school.

On Wednesday 6 May, our Grade 2 students will be heading to Melbourne for an exciting excursion to the zoo. This experience links directly to their classroom learning and provides a wonderful opportunity for students to explore animals and habitats in a real-world setting. 

On Thursday 7 May, students will have the opportunity to visit our Mother’s Day Stall. This is always a much-loved event, giving students the chance to purchase a special gift for someone important in their lives. We thank our staff and volunteers for making this event possible.

To finish the week, on Friday 8 May, our Grade 6 students will participate in their second round of Winter Sport. This program continues to build teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship while allowing students to enjoy healthy competition against other schools.

We look forward to another fantastic week of learning and community connection.
