It’s been a super fun and active start to PE this term!

Our junior students (Foundation - 2) have been doing brilliantly and enjoying their warm-ups alongside our pool noodle friends Harold and Nichole (who have quickly become PE legends!). Together, we’ve been working on key movements like running, jumping, balancing and throwing, helping build confidence and prepare for our Athletics Carnival later this term.

Our senior students (Grades 3 - 6) have been building their endurance and fitness through beep test runs and PT style training, while also mixing it up with some frisbee fun. It’s been great to see students pushing themselves and encouraging each other along the way.

We’ve also introduced the “Impossible Shot” challenge, where each week we recognise an MVP who demonstrates our school value of the week. So far, we’ve celebrated students showing Mutual Responsibility, Compassion, and Constant Learning. It’s been awesome to see these values in action during PE.

A big shoutout to our 5/6 students who represented the school at the District AFL Day! The team put in a massive effort, finishing with 4 wins from 6 games. More importantly, they showed fantastic teamwork, playing in great spirit and cheering each other on all day. As Leo T summed it up perfectly, “This is the best day ever!”

Looking forward to another big term of movement, effort and fun!
