Environment Action Team

We are so excited to share that our school has received our 

Second Star for Biodiversity!  

The stars are a type of reward that the ResourceSmart schools provide. If you go to the Brunswick Rd gate and look on the fence beside it you will see a green poster that has our stars progress. 

Last term Sarah from CERES came to share our process with our stars and help us decide which one to work on next.    

We’ve done many projects that were working towards our second star such as: the bee hotels, the EAT garden, the bird boxes, and so much more. Our current Stars are core and biodiversity and the stars we are working towards are Waste, Water and energy.

What are things you can do to help?

Students can participate in waste free Wednesdays, bring nude food or even join the environment action team to help contribute to the waste, water and energy stars.
