YEAR 9 

Last week was a busy week due to the NAPLAN testing regime. Some students have struggled with the change in routine and I would encourage you to check in with your child and contact the pastoral team if you have any concerns. 

As we approach the end term the pressures around assessment can cause considerable stress. Students must use their diaries to organise themselves and manage their timelines efficiently. 

The post-assessment process is a crucial step in developing strategies for future success. As such students have been reviewing their past report cards with their pastoral mentor to set goals. Next term students will input the information from their Term 1 report card into their academic tracker to identify their successes and work on strategies to improve in the required areas.
