YEAR 8 

In our social-emotional learning (SEL) lesson this week, students learned about empathy through interactive activities and discussions. They explored understanding others' emotions and perspectives, developing essential interpersonal skills. This lesson equipped students with tools to connect more deeply with others and navigate social situations with empathy and understanding.

As students' assessment time draws to a close for term 1 it is a great time to reflect and develop strategies for future success. I encourage you to check in with your child and see if there are areas for improvement. Please don’t hesitate to contact the Pastoral team if you have any concerns or need guidance as we move into Term 2. 

Well done to the Year 8 cohort and families for returning permission forms for the upcoming camp! It is excellent to see the excitement mounting as we draw closer to the camp date. The school holidays are a fantastic opportunity for families to check over the 'What to Bring List' in preparation for this adventure next term.
