SPORTS NEWS

JUNIOR SPORTS - SOFTBALL CLINICS

The Juniors had a great time in softball clinics. They learnt new skills and worked with partners, small groups and individually. We would like to thank DS Sport for providing us with our coaches.

We have once again applied for Sporting Schools funding for next term and we hope we will have some good news early next term about a new sport clinic for Term 2.

WHOLE SCHOOL SPORTING EVENTS

AFL COME AND PLAY PROGRAM AT SFS

What a great event the FREE AFL Clinic was on Wednesday! There were many students from across all levels. It was great to see so many parents also. If students are interested in joining our local AFL club, Lyndhurst Lightning Junior Football Club you may go to their facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/lfnclightning/ or there are flyers in the Community Section of the newsletter.

Wishing everyone a safe and Happy Easter. I hope you enjoy your family time and that the students and staff enjoy a well deserved break.

  LAMONT BOOK FAIR

  Thank you !

A big thank you to our school community for their support of the Lamont Book Fair this term. We were able to raise over $500 for our school which will be used to purchase more books for our school libraries. The generosity of families is greatly appreciated and I know that children love going home with a new book to read!

BOOK FAIR COMPETITION:

Thank you to those who entered our competition to guess how many books were used to make a BOOK! The total number of books uses was 64.

Our winners were Oliver in LS1 ND and Elijah in LS1 AO.

Thanks again everyone for your support.
