Mathematics at GRPS

We were lucky enough to have Michael Ymer join the parents from Prep to Year 2 to work with them around how to teach Maths to their children.  Michael Ymer is an amazing consultant who has worked with the teachers previously. He gave us lots of information around how to introduce numbers to children and some great games that you could play.  We even had a chance to test our own skills, lots of winners with cheers and laughs!

The staff are also going to have a chance to work with Michael Ymer in Term 4 when the new Victorian Maths Curriculum is introduced for 2025.
