SGSSA Athletics

We may only have had small numbers attending but we had a great day on Tuesday at the SGSSA Athletics at Mitchell Park in Hamilton. Both the weather and venue were ideal resulting in a lovely atmosphere for children to compete in. 

A big thank you to those parents who helped out on the Long Jump- Claire, Kate, Callie, Marni and Barbara our teachers aide.

The Cavendish students represented our school with integrity and determination. Everyone tried their hardest and were just happy to compete regardless of their results. By the end of the day Cavendish had an array of ribbons to show off and a few personal bests too.

The SGSSA Qualifiers for the next level of competition for track and field are below.  The Division Athletics Carnival is on Friday 3rd May in Warrnambool.  (A program will be available next term.)
