P & F News

JOSIE SERVELLO

We need to start this week’s newsletter article with a simple ‘WOW’! The Community Open Day is done and dusted and what an event it was. The P&F Committee feel so privileged to be part of such a wonderful, welcoming, and fun school community. Yesterday we watched as staff, parents, students, family, and friends engaged with such love and pride for each other.

The event had many highlights from amazing food/beverages, fresh fruit and veg, children’s activities, Vic Fire Brigade and Vic Community Police, school tours, market stalls and of course, the St. Fidelis' Vocal and Instrumental Performances.

There are SO MANY people to thank for this event – St. Fidelis' Staff, Parents, Students, Extended Community, Volunteers and of course the dedicated P&F team! Every one of the mentioned groups plays a pivotal role in bringing this event together, so thank you for your continued support and generosity.

An extra big thank you to the following businesses who generously donated both goods/services, vouchers and their time to support the Community Open Day- Parliament House Morning Tea vouchers from Lizzie Blandthorn, CDF (Catholic Development Fund) Michelle Fitzgerald, Their Care, Experience Music, The Village Bakery, Bunnings Coburg, Baker’s Delight Coburg, Food Family Passion, Armature Pilates, Bounce Essendon Fields, Ti Amo Carlton, Jimmy Joson (Fruit/Veg Stall), Jack & Daisy Pascoe Vale, Frank Servello MC, Marie and Andrea Sanchez (Earrings), Toyworld Greensborough and Nestle Chocolate. And let’s not forget all the generous donations we received from our own St. Fidelis' Community, which were used in the raffle prizes!

We are currently calculating the funds we raised, and we look forward to sharing the breakdown with you in the coming weeks. In the meantime, please review some of the amazing photos from the Community Open Day event, which captivate the amazing event that it was!
