From the Principal's Desk

Dear Parents, Teachers, and Students,

As we embrace the joys of the changing seasons, our school community continues to shine brightly with numerous achievements and exciting events. Here's a roundup of what's been happening and what lies ahead:

Our recent Cross Country Carnival was a testament to the spirit of sportsmanship and healthy competition that thrives within our school. Congratulations to all the participants for their determination and perseverance. Now, our focus shifts to the upcoming Athletics Carnival where we anticipate more displays of athleticism, teamwork, and school spirit. Let's cheer each other on and make this event a memorable one!

With the conclusion of NAPLAN testing, I would like to commend our students for their dedication and hard work. Your efforts reflect your commitment to academic excellence, and we are proud of each and every one of you.

A heartfelt thank you to all who attended our recent P&F Annual General Meeting. Your presence and participation are invaluable to the continued success of our school community. I extend special appreciation to Emma McGrath for her dedicated service as President and warmly welcome Susan Cox as our new President. Your leadership and commitment are deeply appreciated.

During Catholic Schools Week, we were delighted to welcome parents into our classrooms for special activities and picnics with their children. Your involvement strengthens the bond between home and school, enriching the educational experience for our students. Thank you for your continued support and partnership.

Our talented students have once again showcased their creativity and skill through their artwork displayed at the Tumbarumba Show. Special thanks to Mrs. Barclay and Miss O'Sullivan for their efforts in curating such a remarkable display. Your dedication to nurturing our students' artistic talents is truly commendable.

We are honoured to host the Leadership Team from CEDWW next Wednesday, including the esteemed Director, Andrew Watson. This visit presents a wonderful opportunity to showcase the exceptional learning environment we have cultivated here at our school.

As we approach the solemn occasion of Good Friday and the celebration of Easter next weekend, let us take time to reflect on the profound significance of this season. Next Thursday, students will participate in the Stations of the Cross, remembering the sacrifice and love that underpin our faith.

In closing, I extend my warmest wishes to you and your families for a blessed Easter filled with joy, renewal, and hope.

God Bless,

Daniel Francis
