Teamwork

The focus of the fortnight this week and last is Teamwork. The students have been encouraged with many simple phrases such as:

  • Teamwork makes the dream work.
  • Together. Everyone. Achieves. More.

When we whittle down our time, so much of our time is spent with others, in various forms of teams. Despite many of us thinking otherwise or preferring time alone or to do things independently. Much of our time is spent in a team. At home, we are often around our family, a team. At school we are in a class, a team. Our afterschool hobbies and activities can be part of a group or team. There is such a small portion of our time spent alone – this is to be cherished, but. Teamwork means we can maximise our productivity and social time, learn from others and contribute our own skills and talents.

It is no wonder the bible says: Two people are better than one. When two people work together they get more done. Ecclesiastes 4:9

It has been a fortnight of wonderful results. Congratulations to all our competitors!
