Semester 2 Merit Assemblies

Our Merit Assemblies were conducted at the end of this semester. Each teacher selects two students from each class in recognition of their safe, respectful learner behaviours. The Year Advisers for each year group also selects three students to be awarded the Gold, Silver and Bronze Medallions. These students are exceptional role models and are recognised for their commitment to improvement. Congratulations to all our award winners and medallion recipients!

Rewards Incursion

A rewards incursion was organised towards the end of the term for students with an attendance level of 98% and above, as well as our Gold Award recipients and the Gold, Silver and Bronze medallion winners. Students were invited for lunch and a movie session in the school hall.  The purpose of the incursion was to reward students who continues to uphold the school’s safe, respectful learner ethos as well as those consistently demonstrating positive behaviour and applying themselves in their learning.

Academic, Sports and Dance Ceremony

Towards the end of every year, Merrylands High School celebrate and recognise our best highest performing students in our Academic, Sports and Dance Ceremony. This year is no exception, as we announced students who has topped each subject, demonstrated athleticism or captivated us with awe-inspiring dance performances.
