As the weather turns colder and the holidays draw near, our students (and teachers!) are consolidating the term's learning and eagerly anticipating a well-earned break. The teachers have been busy planning for the upcoming term and organising excursions. We hope everyone enjoys the break, rests up, and returns rejuvenated and ready to embrace new challenges in Term 3. Stay warm and have a wonderful break!

Year 2 students have been exploring the past this term, but this week they considered what it might be like in the future. After designing an invention, they created a prototype. Students thoroughly enjoyed this creative finally to their inquiry.
On Wednesday the 19th, we had an incursion facilitated by the Whitehorse Council's Education Team. Students learned about Indigenous Australian culture, traditions and history. They were shown artifacts and participated in an action song in Woi wurrung, the Indigenous language of the Wurundjeri people.
As Grade 1 and 2 have had many students absent with illness and we are now heading into the colder months, we ask that you remind your children to wash their hands regularly with soap and water, cover their mouths if they need to cough and use and dispose of tissues properly. Thanks for your understanding.
