There are so many great opportunities for the students at Vermont Primary School to engage with each other, with new and exciting learning and with the community, and we are very proud of all the work that they have done this semester.

Mr Fraser

We are sad to announce that at the end of this term, Mr Fraser will be leaving Vermont Primary School to take a period of personal leave for at least the next 18 months. Mr Fraser is a much-loved part of Vermont Primary School and has contributed to the development of hundreds of children over his time here. The Arts is an area in which many children thrive, and Mr Fraser has provided a fun, engaging and creative space for the students of VPS to develop their love of music and performing, and for that we are so grateful. His work with the Orchestra, Rock Band, Choirs and of course school productions has been a huge part of our school culture and history. We wish Mr Fraser all the best as he undertakes a new adventure and career path, and hope that he comes back to visit in the near future!

We are in the process of recruiting a new music teacher, and hope to have this in place for the beginning of Term 3.

Reports

Student reports will be completed and ready for parent viewing next Thursday. These can be accessed via the Compass app or website under the 'Reports' tab on your child's homepage. Reports from previous years should now be available for you all to see. If you notice any issues with this, please let us know and we can try and fix it up for you.

Stadium works

We are so pleased to finally be able to announce that work on our Stadium drainage is commencing these holidays. This work will be extensive and replace or modify the plumbing in and around the Stadium. This work needs to be completed in order for us to undertake work on the flooring. Please be aware that at the start of Term 3, there will be limited access around the Stadium, and may be termporary fencing in places. We will update the school community on any access restrictions prior to the start of term.
