Kangaroo Class

Miss Moore

Over the past two weeks we have been doing lots of fun things in the Kangaroo room. In Literacy, we have been focusing on writing retells about the events that occurred in the books ‘The Very Itchy Bear’ and ‘The Very Noisy Bear’. We made puppets to assist with retelling these stories.

In Mathematics we have been learning about two and three-dimensional shapes. We have been trying to do as many lessons as we can outside while the weather is still nice enough. We have been drawing and locating shapes outsides, as well as forming shapes using our bodies.

In Auslan, we have been learning how to sign family words such as Mum, Dad, sister, brother etc. We painted a picture of our family members.

We hope that everyone has a restful and enjoyable long weekend.
