Principal's message

Hi Families,

Its been another jam-packed fortnight at Alvie Primary school as 28 of our Yr3-6 students attended the Polwarth Anglesea Camp with students from Dean's Marsh, Forrest, Beeac and Lavers Hill schools. Student's completed a number of adventure activities along with beach and canoeing adventures. Overall, the grit and resilience of our students were highly commended, challenging themselves throughout the 3 days.

 

Student Health 

There has been significant illness in the community over the past 2 weeks, coming into the colder weather. Please ensure that students are kept home if unwell as we have had to send a number of sick students home in recent days. 

 

Preps 2025

I am hoping that we now have all siblings who will be beginning Preps next year enrolled at Alvie. If you have not completed the enrolment form, please contact the office as soon as possible. If you know of any families who are planning to enrol their child in 2025 and are zoned to our school, please contact them and remind them how important it is to call the office for a tour and an enrolment form.
