3/4 Woorabinda Camp
We had the best time on Camp!
From the minute we hopped off the bus we were lead on a bushwalk to the Cookout site. We had to collect sticks to fuel the fires that we cooked our lunch on!
We had delicious 'steamboats' for lunch - sausages, potatoes, pumpkin and carrot cooked in foil on the fire.
Our first night Alanah lead us on a night walk where we got to see possums!
The second day of our Camp was for our Adventure Day. Students were able to choose their own activity out of the following options; Mariners - canoeing and water activities, Farmers - finding the farm and feeding the animals, Engineers - completing a series of games to earn parts to build a go kart, and the Binda Games - a series of challenges to earn points.
We all had such a great time on our mini adventures. It was wonderful to meet back up with our friends at the end of the day and share our stories.
Each night we wrote a diary entry of the day's events, and the following morning people were chosen to share their work with the campers and camp staff.
A huge thank you to Leanne, Mrs Macdonald and Miss Lewis for coming with us!
My favourite thing at camp was the zip line because it was fun and cool!
I loved dinner.
I loved going on the night walk and I loved the food.
On camp my favourite part was when I was brave enough to go on the zip line.
I loved the night walk, dinner, lunch, breakfast, sleep and the farming.
