Hands on learning

Recently in hands-on learning we have been working on some projects, we also have been on an excursion to Platinum institute. We used basic skills and understanding on how to: Plaster, Concrete, Hammer, Drill, Operation of a scissor lift, and working at heights.

During the past few weeks we have been working on a dog kennel for Blazer (the school's support dog). We have Harry, Nixen, Noah, Mason working on it. They have done an outstanding job so far. We also have been trying to get started on the build of a community library. Also we have a year 10 VM numeracy project. We built a fence for them and now we need to paint it.

Next week is our last Hands on Learning for the term and we are looking forward to having take- away (we are still arguing on KFC or Dominos).

Finally, the grand total Hands on Learning has raised for the Cancer Council through the sale of Harry’s Daffodils is

(drum roll please).......$80.
