Art Room Updates

Our students have been working hard and creatively engaged in the art room this term!

• Preps have been studying artist Paul Klee, focusing on his use of shape and colour. They’ve been bringing these concepts to life through a range of learning tasks.
• Years 1 and 2 are putting the finishing touches on their Etel Adnan-inspired landscapes and are learning to master the palette knife as a painting tool.
• Years 3 and 4 are diving into fashion design. They’re in the early stages of developing their own designs, experimenting with different styles and looks.
• Years 5 and 6 are working on their final portrait pieces, drawing inspiration from the works of Indigenous artist Vincent Namatjira.

We’re excited to see the artistic growth and creativity of our students this term!
