STEM

Thank you to everyone that brought boxes and recyclable materials this term. Everyone has enjoyed making a wide range of designs. This has included musical instruments, boats, cars, marble runs and so much more!

Next term the Grade 2 students and SC1 will be creating an outdoor craft activity as part of their unit on Earth’s resources. For this activity we will be making a bee. It would be fantastic if you could please bring a soft drink can or metal tin to school for this activity. We will be making them in Week 3 and 4. You are more than welcome to bring them in earlier with your students' grade written on it. 

Every fortnight we will be having a STEM question for students to answer. The questions will be posted in the school's newsletter. These questions will not be compulsory, but will be a bit of fun and a challenge for students. Students can write their answer on a piece of paper and place it in the appropriate box inside the STEM room. At the end of the week Miss Middlin will do a lucky dip and select one student from Prep- 2 will receive a small science related prize. This week’s question is found below.
