Regional AFL:

Wishing our Regional boys AFL team the best for next week’s competition. There is much excitement gathering and we look forward to hearing how you go. Thanks to Mr Arnold and Mr Rogers for supporting the team in their preparations and at the event.

Term 3 Afterschool Netball:

Buninyong Primary School is planning on entering on team/s into the Darroch Afterschool Netball Competition at Llanberris Netball Stadium. These will be run on Tuesday afternoons (game times expected to be 4.05pm, 4.55pm and 5.45pm) in Term 3 (commencing 23 July, 2024). The competition will run for approximately 8-9 weeks. Lunchtime training sessions may run if there is an adult available.

Grade 3-6 students (boys and girls) interested in joining a team will need to register via Compass and make payment before 26 June, 2024. Please note that we will endeavour to include all interested students and preferred days. Teams will be decided by Claire Morris and will be based around the groups of Grade 3/4 and Grade 5/6.

The cost is $50 (+ VNA if required) and will need to be paid upon registration (26 June, 2024). A refund will be given to those not placed in a team. Uniform will be provided this year and the hire of these is included in the cost. Please note that own transport to and from games and own adult supervision will be required each week. This will not be a staffed event and we will be relying on parental assistance at the game to coach and score. Please indicate on the registration form if you are interested in filling the coaching/scorers roll. N.B. teams will not be entered without a designated coach.

P.E. Shoes Reminder:

A reminder that students need to bring clean, dry running shoes to P.E. each session. This is to ensure the safety of the students as well as the condition of the gym. Please bring them to school in your bags and carry them to P.E. where we will change into them. Thank you.
