MANO’S SKIPPING FOR JUMP ROPE 4 HEART
Last week the whole school participated in our ‘Jump Off Day’ which included an amazing day of skipping. Students and staff celebrated our wonderful efforts in not only raising funds for the Heart Foundation, but also promoting a physical and healthy lifestyle. Students over the 5 weeks have embraced skipping, learning new basic and advanced skills, along with working in a team or with a partner through P.E., recess and lunch-time. It has been so good seeing students be active before, during and after school with a simple skipping rope! Mano raised $10,401 with over 216 hours skipped. Below are our top 5 fund-raising students at ‘Mano’- Well done to all the students who raised money and we certainly had some amazing standouts.
- Isla Peirce (PW) $654.24
- Trixie McInnes (2S) $359.68
- Anna Partalovska (1O) $357.18
- Ruby Dwyer-Yates (1O) $348.48
- Freddie Roncon (PD) $346.06
