Hands On Learning
This week in Hands on Learning we had a very productive day.
During the first 2 sessions we harvested 3 giant cauliflowers, from the garden, to make cauliflower, potato and leek soup for the staff lunch.
We also made thank you cards for the supermarkets who have generously donated vouchers and goods to our program.
In the middle 2 sessions, some of us made chow mein for our lunch, while others printed, laminated and displayed the HoL job safely analysis posters in our work spaces.
During the last hour of the day we cleaned up our work areas and enjoyed a choc-mud cake to celebrate Kianoe, Lincoln, Allesha and Zara’s (visiting Canadian teacher) birthdays.
