Year 8 Textiles – Sewn Pouch Project

To finish off our Textiles this Semester we have been looking at the design and production process. Students in Year 8 have been learning about what a Notion is (small features you would find on a sewn product such as; buttons, elastic, zips and clasps.) For their project they were asked to research a design for their pouch and they could make choices on the steps they followed and what notion to use. Pictured are some of the finished pouches that students made.
