YEAR 10 EXCURSION

VIETNAM VETERAN'S MUSEUM

Mrs Fawaz's Year 10 Society and Culture, and Ms. Kennedy's History classes headed to Newhaven to visit the Vietnam Veteran's Museum to learn about the conscription process, the recent recognition of the service of nurses and First Nations soldiers, and the legendary story of The Battle of Long Tan. The group had the benefit of being guided through the museum by veteran volunteers and getting up close to military vehicles.

The museum is open all year long and if you are on Phillip Island, it is well worth a visit!
