Todd Woodbridge Cup
On Tuesday, 22 October, ten students competed in the Todd Woodbridge Regional Final here in Gunnedah. It was a great day of Tennis with everyone playing very well against some tough competition, placing 4th overall. Well done to Banjo Fitzgerald for receiving the De Minaur Passion award and to Maggie Gardner for receiving the Tomljanovic respect award on the day.
NSWPSSA Athletics
On Tuesday and Wednesday this week, Josh Spinks, Ruby Cygan and the Junior girls relay team (Elodie Warren, Millie Lyle, Georgina Grimm and Eloise Launders) travelled to Sydney to compete in the NSWPSSA Championships.
Josh was selected to read the Athletes Oath at the opening ceremony. On the field he was so close to a podium finish with a 4th place on a countback in the 12/13yrs high jump. Ruby finished 19th in the 12/13yrs long jump and 14th in the 12/13yrs high jump with a massive 5cm PB on the day. The junior girls relay team finished 5th in their heat and 17th overall.
Well done to everyone for representing our school with pride and doing your best, it is a massive achievement to compete at this high level.
