Student Representative Council

‘Use your student voice!’

Hi everyone,

We have some exciting news to share from the Student Representative Council. This term the SRC decided that they would like to raise money for a charity that focuses on helping children. They have chosen the Jeans for Genes organisation.

Kids just want to be kids, but instead of playing sports with their friends or having fun in the park on a sunny day, children with genetic diseases are getting liver transplants, taking dozens of medications, or having their next dose of chemotherapy. It shouldn’t be this way. The SRC would love you to donate to their Jeans for Genes Fundraiser, so you can help the scientists find cures, so these children can go back to being kids.

On Thursday 5th December, the SRC would like all of the students and teachers at RHPS to come to school dressed in their best denim. We want to see denim jeans, shorts, waist coats, dresses and even double denim! We would love everyone to bring a gold coin donation so that we can raise money for this essential children’s charity. Thanks, as always, for your support. Look out for more information on Compass!
