STUDENT COUNCILLORS

This past week has been a busy one.
Students who went to Busselton Camp had a lovely time, relaxing on the beach, having a crack at fishing and going for leisurely paddles on the kayaks. We were also given time on Saturday to explore what the main street of Busselton had to offer. It was rewarding for us to see some new students taking part in the team-building activities that were available throughout the weekend.
We’d like to thank the staff who organised the Busselton Camp in the months beforehand. the students who attended the camp really appreciate your efforts.
The Harvey Ag Annual Swimming Carnival on Wednesday was an exciting event that brought our cohorts together for half a day of team games and friendly competition.
Red faction, Naturaliste, showcased their skills and teamwork which lead to them coming out on top for the second year in a row. Mr Adams, a Naturaliste enthusiast, began the carnival with a group huddle and emphasised the importance of teamwork, participation and encouragement, which were key factors in their success.
Overall, the carnival was not just about winning; it was a lesson on sportsmanship among all of our students. Everyone had a great time and the event strengthened the bonds between all students making it a memorable day for all involved.
Thank you to Mr Swallow, Mr Dyson and all the staff who made the event possible.
