Students and staff are looking forward to the long weekend following a busy start to the year. Most students have settled in well and have established good routines and are adapting to the longer days. Students are encouraged to make sure they get some well-earned rest and sleep over the weekend.

It was great to see the positive student involvement, along with the friendly rivalry between the factions at Wednesdays Swimming Carnival. Thank you to the parents/carers and family members who came along to watch and support their child – it was great to see you there!

Compass 

Parents will have noticed if they have accessed the Compass Parent Portal, that updates have been made since the communication in last week’s Weekly Wrap.

Parents will be aware that the College is using the ‘Events’ module of Compass to manage excursions at the College. As this is continuing to be implemented, we ask for your patience and support and we apologise in advance of any doubling up of information as we fine tune the use of this module. 

Year 12 Student Declaration and Permission

Year 12 students are required to complete an online Student Declaration and Permission. This is from the School Curriculum and Standards Authority and is required to be done in order for students to be able to access the student portal, their results, WACE Certificate and achievement at the end of the year. 

Attached is a Parent Information Sheet in relation to the process. Please discuss the responses to the request for permission with your child over the weekend. During next week students will be provided with details and instructions of how to complete the Student Declaration and Permission online.
