School Fete

The fete is our major school event for 2025 and most would be aware that we alternate from year to year between the fete and school concert.  Last year we ran a concert, so this year we have a fete. 

Like the concert, the fete is a fabulous school community event that brings everyone together to achieve something pretty cool. And hopefully through the fete we’ll manage to raise the funds needed to provide the school experience we all want for the kids. 

We have scheduled the fete to run from 5-8pm on Friday March 21, which is roughly 6 weeks away. 

So what does the fete look like?  Hopefully the attached photos from 2023 will help, but in a nutshell:

• Each class will run an event or stall and we have just started the process of sorting the event or stall each would like to run.  Each of these are heavily reliant on parents jumping in to help prepare and run these events and stalls.  In the coming weeks teachers will be reaching out to ask for help.  Please get involved where you can. 
• An external provider (Magajumps) will bring and run a variety of amusements for the kids to enjoy.
• External stall holders will be invited to come along to sell their wares.

All of the above combines to create an event that has something for everyone in the family.  There will be various food options available, meaning you won’t need to cook that night.

Coordinating the event will be the key work of our Fete Team, which will meet weekly in the month leading up to the event.  We’re very keen to have a few parents join that team, so please contact the office if you’re interested.
