Creative Writing Club
The Creative Writing Club is back with a competition to kick off term 1
Heathmont College’s Creative Writing club runs every Friday lunchtime in C9 with Mr McClare
Activities include:
- Games and workshops
- Shape your ideas into stories
- Publish and enter competitions
- Hang out with other students
Short story competition - Heatwave
Your writing should connect to the competition’s theme, Heatwave, in any way you like. The only limit is your imagination.
Each entry should be between 500 and 1500 words.
The winners will be published in the Gazette and receive book vouchers.
There will be one winner for each of the following categories:
- Individual entry for students from year 7 to 9
- Individual entry for students from year 10 to 12
- Team entry for multiple students from any year level
