Cosentino Learning Hub Update

We are thrilled to share that, thanks to a generous Dulux grant sourced from our parents in 2024, we are nearing completion on the repainting of the external walls of the Cosentino Learning Hub. Once finished, the building will truly stand out and bring a fresh, vibrant look to our school. We can't wait for everyone to see the final result!

Wellbeing Hub Project

We are excited to announce the start of our main building project for 2025 - The Wellbeing Hub. This project has been made possible by the parent voluntary building and fundraising contributions from 2024. The Wellbeing Hub will be a space for all students to access and use for their mental, emotional and social wellbeing. I will be sharing rendered images of the proposed design with the parent community via Compass in the coming days, so stay tuned!

Teaching and Learning Update

The positive impact of our 9:00 am school start continues to impress. By ensuring all students arrive on time, we are able to help them begin their day in the best possible way. Late arrivals can often cause unnecessary anxiety for students, as they worry about missing important instructions. When we start promptly, classrooms are calm and focused and we see high levels of engagement in learning. Our learning walks are showing that the structured start makes a noticeable difference in students’ focus and success.

School Council Update

We are pleased to announce that  School Council nominations have now closed and we have a full school council body! We are excited to have a strong group of members to work together in supporting the school’s continued growth and success. Thank you to all who expressed interest in being part of this vital school team!

District Swimming Finals

A huge congratulations to all our students who have qualified for the District Swimming Finals, representing Kingswood Primary School! We wish them the best of luck as they move forward in the competition. We are incredibly proud of their achievements!

SRC and Play Leader Badges Presentation

Our SRC and Play Leader badges will be presented to deserving students at our assembly on Monday 3rd March at 2.45pm. If your child is receiving a badge, we encourage you to attend and celebrate their accomplishments. These students have worked hard to take on these leadership roles, and we’re excited to acknowledge their dedication!

Respectful Communication at Kingswood Primary School

At Kingswood Primary School, we hold a strong expectation that all communication with staff remains polite and courteous. If you are asked to leave and return at a later time, we ask that you respect this request immediately. Our staff are here to support the school community, but they are not obligated to tolerate rude or entitled behaviour. Let's continue to foster a positive and respectful environment for everyone at Kingswood.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events!
