Now the Term is in full swing, a few reminders about what is happening!

 

First PFA meeting for 2025 - Wednesday 19th February -

7.30pm Senior campus staffroom

We hope to see lots of class reps attend as well as other parents...everyone is welcome!!

 

Wine and Cheese Night -  Thursday 27th February, 7pm

Our first PFA Event for the year! It's a really relaxed evening to come and say hi and meet parents. Book now to assist with catering... we need to know how much cheese to buy! Ticket includes one drink and nibbles. Ticket sales close end of this week so please buy yours now! BYO Wineglass and eftpos will be available to purchase more.

Exciting News – The 2025 GPS Community Fair is Happening!

We’re excited to announce that planning is officially underway for the 2025 GPS Community Fair – and we need YOU! We know how busy life can get, so we’re keeping things manageable by forming small sub-committees to help make this event a success. We’ll minimise meetings by organising sub-committee sessions, and closer to the event, we’ll bring the full planning team together. To get things started, our first meeting will be held on Tuesday 25th February at 7:30 pm. To make it easy for everyone, this meeting will be ONLINE. Whether you’re interested in leading a sub-committee (such as food, bake sale, parent bar, stalls, entertainment) or just want to lend a hand, we’d love for you to be involved! Meeting details are below.

Photo Fundraiser -  Saturday 1st March 

Only a few spots left. BOOK now to avoid disappointment!  It's a really great keepsake and snapshot in time. $30 for session time, one photo, and it all comes to the school.

Join the DOGS (Dads of Gardenvale School)  to welcome the new dads for 2025 and catch up with the old ones too. 7pm Thursday 6th March at Hotel Brighton. A great chance to have a casual catch up and drink.  All welcome.

 

Second Hand Uniform Shop - 14th March 

8.40-9.10am. Outside music room - Junior Campus. 

All items $5 Eftpos only (no cash). You can drop your old uniforms to the Junior campus office anytime. 

General uniform rules apply.  Change over period for old to new is 2 years (2025 & 2026 old will be allowed) After this we will donate all old uniforms in second hand shop to a school in an underprivileged area. Musical jumpers are worn for the year of the musical and year after. You can see the uniform policy on the school website.

 

GPS Weekend away- Over 150 families have now booked for our second ever GPS Family Getaway. Cabins and glamping have booked out, but caravan and tent sites are still available! Not a fan of pitching a tent? Why not hire a caravan or motorhome?
