Dear BMGS Community,
Welcome to another exciting update for Term 3! The past few weeks have been filled with memorable events, and we have plenty more to look forward to. Here's a recap of recent activities and a preview of what's ahead.
Last week, we proudly hosted our annual Student Leadership Induction Ceremony. It was an inspiring event where our newly elected student leaders from Year 11 were officially sworn into their roles. These students will take on significant responsibilities within the school, helping to organize events, represent the student body, and contribute to decision-making processes. We are confident they will lead with integrity, creativity, and dedication, setting an excellent example for their peers.
Congratulations to all our new leaders!
Our annual ski trip to the snowy mountains was a fantastic adventure, and we’re delighted to report that it was a tremendous success. Despite the chilly weather and strong winds, spirits were high as they took on the slopes. Many students experienced skiing or snowboarding for the first time, and the camaraderie and teamwork were incredible to see. A big thank you to our staff for their hard work in ensuring this trip ran smoothly, and to our students for their enthusiasm and positive attitude throughout the week.
It’s a busy time for our Year 11 students, who are currently in the midst of their end-of-year exams. These assessments are a crucial part of their preparation for Year 12 and beyond, and we know they have been working diligently to revise and prepare. The exam period can be stressful, so we encourage students to take care of themselves, get plenty of rest, and approach each exam with confidence. Best of luck to all our Year 11s — you’ve got this!
Open Day - Tomorrow!
We are excited to remind everyone that our Open Day is happening tomorrow! This is one of the biggest events on the school calendar and a fantastic opportunity for prospective families to tour our school and meet with teachers, students, and staff. There will be live demonstrations, performances, and displays from various departments, showcasing the wide range of opportunities our school offers.
Year 12 Valedictory Events
Our Year 12 Valedictory events are fast approaching, marking the end of an important chapter for our graduating class. The celebrations will include the Valedictory Assembly, Year 12 Formal, and the Graduation Ceremony. These events are a time to reflect on the achievements, friendships, and memories made over the years, and we look forward to celebrating the wonderful contributions of our Year 12 cohort.
Thank you for your ongoing support. We are looking forward to seeing you at our upcoming events, and we wish all our students the very best for the remainder of Term 3!
