Reading: Aim to read for 15 minutes per night.
Inquiry: We are spending a great deal of time researching for our information reports. Discuss with your family the different ways you have been gathering information. Have you just been using the internet? Are there other resources you can come up with?
Mathematics: Continue to revise your multiplication facts.
You may like to use your timetables app on your iPad for this.
Year 3: 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, and 10s
Year 4: all facts - start with those that you are least confident with.
You can also create flash cards with unknown facts to practice with.

Literacy:
Spelling: This week, Year 3 students are focusing on the soft g sound. Year 4 students are concentrating on the suffix ‘-ent'.

Writer’s and Reader’s Workshop:We are continuing researching and creating our own information texts on a specific animal, learning how to note take, put into our own words, and crediting our sources.
Mathematics: We are using our knowledge of money, budgeting and addition of decimals to begin an exciting party planning investigation!
Unit of Inquiry: We continue to deep dive into our classification unit, specifically exploring how we identify appropriate classifications.
