A Message from the Principal

Mrs Pauline Long

Dear Parents and Carers,

Snow White School Production

Our play was a great success last week and I thank the entire school community for your support. The students absolutely loved performing for you, as you could see by their smiling faces on stage. Many students noted how they were proud of themselves for participating and working hard to learn their lines.

Once again special thanks to our PT & F committee for preparing the tasty snack boxes and organising the raffle. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I hope you enjoy reading the comments from the students about this experience.

From Year 5-6 students

Our 2024 Snow White Play was amazing. The performance inspired me to continue drama. There was music, dancing and acting. We are so grateful to the CSO for donating money to make this play possible. This experience was one of the most exciting and thrilling yet. (Billie)

It was such a fun experience. My favourite part was all the dances. I loved working, dancing and acting with the Kindys. The play interacted with the audience and it was so funny. We loved the help from the High School with sound and lighting. This added an amazing touch. The play was sooo awesome and I can't wait to do it in High School. (Jorja)

I liked how everybody got a turn on stage. It was fun acting. I was so happy when I got the part of Sneezy the dwarf. (Harold)

It was the best experience, especially learning to act evil (thanks to the wicked queen). The costumes and dances were awesome. There was humour, sad and scary parts and different characters. My favourite part was when I put the creepy snails and witches' fingernails into the cauldron. It was the perfect experience to showcase our acting talents. Every single student gave it a go! (Dani)

Three Way Student, Parent and Teacher Conferences

Over the last two weeks of term, teachers are available for 3 Way Learning Conferences. I strongly encourage you to bring your child to these meetings as the students will have work they are proud of to share with you. It is also time to celebrate goals achieved and set new goals. Together we can help your child reach for the stars!

Have a happy and healthy week
