Stage Three Camp
Stage 3 on an entrancing escape into the wilderness
Brought to you by Viktoria F.
The annual opportunity to vacation at camp rolled around again for the lucky Stage Three students. After a bus ride to the Sydney Academy of Sport and Recreation, at Narrabean, students were met with the facilities, food and fun they would be having for 3 days and 2 nights.
But it was the activities which really made the trip such an engaging and sensational success. From canoeing as a team to constructing a roaring campfire, Stage 3 were put to the test to show off their skills - and nailed it. Students demonstrated resilience, collaboration, innovativity and most importantly, the bravery to try something new. Overall everybody agreed that this year’s camp was a monumental triumph for all in every way.
Stage 3 Returns From The Wilderness

Exhilarating, adventurous, and unforgettable, Peakhurst’s 2024 Stage 3 camp was an engaging experience of new skills. Years 5 and 6 trekked out into the wilds, abandoning any hint of a screen, and living amongst the untamed animals of Australia. Out north of Sydney, Stage 3 stayed for three days and two nights.
Over 100 children, all partook in various activities such as: archery tag, bush walking, and canoeing. A quote from one such child who enjoyed the activities is included: “The games were so entertaining! When one and a half hours were up, it felt like only ten minutes had passed.” says Willow Parry. Stage 3 returned home from Narrabean with furthered confidence, collaboration, and memories to last a lifetime.
