Reception Yellow Excursion

On Thursday 12th September, the Reception Yellow class visited the South Australian Fire Station and the Adelaide Museum. The class were informed about fire safety, and the roles and responsibilities of a fireman. Students also had a chance to go inside a Fire Truck and look at the various features, including the giant hoses used to put out fires. At the Museum, the children explored the various exhibits, which included the animals, marine life and unique pieces of Indigenous Art. It was excellent to see our receptions engage and see different parts of our community. Thank you to our amazing ESO’s and teachers Katie Ozgo and Janie Steele for their support and organisation. We look forward to many exciting excursions and adventures ahead.

Look out for the next newsletter in a fortnight's time for pictures from the Reception Blue class's visit!

RU OK? Day

September 12th was RU OK? Day which is a day dedicated to checking in on each other and spreading kindness. At St Brigid's School we will be celebrating and acknowledging RU OK? Day over a week with fun activities and opportunities for friendly conversations about feelings and support.

RUOK Day is a great reminder that a simple “Are you okay?” can make a big difference. We encourage everyone to continue asking this question and listening with care. Together, we can create a supportive and caring school community where everyone feels valued.

Thank you for joining us in making RUOK Day special!
