11 & 12 June -Get Help with your Licence - Aboriginal Justice Open Day
The WA Government Department of Justice Aboriginal Justice Open Days welcome everyone and serve as a ‘one-stop shop’ where you can access services that can help you with:
- applying for driver’s licence
- identification documents, such as birth certificates
- organising payment of outstanding fines
- Centrelink matters.

4-19 July WACE Revision
This weeklong program is designed for Year 12 students undertaking an ATAR-pathway. Students receive specialist subject tuition and learn exam preparation techniques designed to boost their subject grades and increase their potential for direct entry into UWA.
The School of Indigenous Studies supports Indigenous Year 12 students to attend the July WACE revision program for free. All accommodation and travel costs are covered for regional Year 12 students.
To be eligible, students should be taking 4 or more ATAR subjects.

NM TAFE Certificate III in On Country Management
This course is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who want to work on Country, following cultural protocols and combining traditional knowledge with modern land management practices. “On Country” includes land, waterways and sea, and this course equips you to care for these environments respectfully and sustainably.

Parks and Wildlife Mentored Aboriginal Training Employment Scheme
The Mentored Aboriginal Training Employment Scheme (known as MATES) is a successful departmental initiative that supports Aboriginal people—primarily in regional Western Australia—through employment and structured qualification pathways in conservation and land management.

National Indigenous Business summer School
Register Now for 14 – 17 December
The National Indigenous Business Summer School – Western Australia (NIBSS-WA) is a free, fun, 3-night, 4-day residential program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander high school students in Years 10, 11 and 12 from across Western Australia. High school teachers are also welcome to accompany a group of students, with teacher accommodation, travel and meals included as part of the program.
Hosted at the Curtin University Bentley campus in Perth, on Whadjuk Noongar Boodja. NIBSS-WA introduces students to the worlds of business, innovation, entrepreneurship and university life in a supportive and inspiring environment.
