WINTER CARNIVAL - YEAR 5 & 6
What a magnificent day to start our Winter Sport program. The students played soccer and AFL 9's at Geelong College Middle School, Aberdeen St., Geelong West, netball at Kardinia Park and Tee ball at Elderslie Reserve, Read St., Newtown.
We had many parents who came and supported the students throughout the afternoon. Thank you to our amazing staff who prepared our students for the program and to our many students who demonstrated positive behaviour with respect for opponents, teammates and officials when playing. Some students showcased their leadership qualities by motivating and encouraging their teammates and opposition on and off the field. Sport provides an opportunity to be physically active, connect with peer group and showcase sport specific skill.
We require Compass approval for each ROUND to allow your child to participate, by the due date.
WINTER SPORT ROUND 1 –Thursday 7th May
Round 1 is next Thursday 7th May. Compass approval is required today, Friday 1st May.
We play Christian College Bellarine, match play from 1.30 - 2.30pm at most venues.
Football is played at Friers Reserve, West Fyans St, Newtown
Netball at Kardinia Park,
Soccer at Howard Glover Reserve, East Geelong
T Ball at Hickinbotham Oval, Eastern Gardens East Geelong

21st May - Winter Sport Rd 3 (1.00pm to 3.15pm) - Year 5 & 6
28th May - Winter Sport Rd 4 (1.00pm to 3.15pm) - Year 5 & 6
4th June - Winter Sport Rd 5 (1.00pm to 3.15pm) - Year 5 & 6
9th June - Year 1 & 2 Day Camp - Wyuna Queenscliff
