Captain's Corner

Hello, we are the Woodend Primary School 2025 school captains. Our names are Erin, Victor, Zara and Georgia! 

We're so excited to be running our second assembly and supporting this amazing school along with the other Leaders.  Thanks for all of the support we have gotten so far this year. We have loads of new leaders joining us in WPS including the new roles of literacy leader and numeracy leader. We believe we can help the school grow and learn amazing things. 

We hope you have been able to stay cool during this hot summer week. It is very important to wear a hat and sunscreen during this time so make sure to be sun smart. 

Remember to be a learner, be responsible, be respectful and be safe. 

Enjoy the year ahead as we promise many great fun things to happen. Good luck to all of the new students joining this brilliant school!

Environmental Leaders

Hi we’re the environmental leaders and we’re letting you know that on the 28th of February there will be a school clean up for Clean up Australia day after lunch. In case your children forget which area to clean up make sure to ask your teacher, they should have a map. Also, this year it's the 35th anniversary of Clean up Australia day, So if you can, make sure to try and find a time to clean up your backyard on Sunday, because it’s the out of school Clean up Australia day. If you want to participate in a community event, please go to the clean up australia day website.

Hello I’m Charlie.

We are the Wellbeing Leaders.

We are the people who are going to be walking around the school grounds, HANDING out Bee awards, monitoring your classes and seeing if you are following the school values.

When following the school values, you get a bee token, and in your classroom there will be a  Bee Token MENU for what you can spend your bee tokens on.

We have some amazing future ideas, that we will be announcing throughout the coming weeks.  We have to go now, but make sure to Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe and Be a Learner.
