Library

Welcome back from the Library and all her books, and from me!!
Overall, most kids enjoy coming to Library, which is very nice. It’s a chance for me to have a chat and find out what books they are all reading and the types of books they are wanting to read. Furthermore, it’s an opportunity for students to have a free choice of their books.
Thank you to the parents who reached out regarding overdue books from last year, it’s very much appreciated. I understand that sometimes books do go hiding and can’t be found, or your new puppy has used one as a teething toy. Please do get in touch with me so I can sort something out. Often children who have overdue books will not be allowed to borrow until they are returned, which can be upsetting for them. I promise that no one will get into trouble for speaking to me about an overdue book. If it has been truly lost or damaged, you can replace it or pay for it at the front office, which clears your child’s name, and they can continue to borrow with the rest of their class.
Book Club
Book Club catalogues were distributed last week to all students. Book Club sales help with the purchasing of books and resources for the school through the small commission we receive from each order, so your support of the Book Club is valued.
Cash orders can be made, just drop them off at the front office otherwise you can order through the Scholastic LOOP ordering system and pay by credit card for delivery to the school for distribution. The help page for the LOOP system if needed is:
