Year 7

Assistant Principal's Report
We are excited to welcome our new year 7 students and their families to our school community. At the heart of our school is a sense of community, kindness, and respect. We believe in fostering an environment where everyone feels welcome, valued, and inspired, and ready for the incredible experiences ahead at Wyndham Central College.
Wyndham Central College isn’t just a place for students to learn; it’s a place to grow, explore, and discover their passions. Here, we believe that every student brings something unique to the table. Whether you're an athlete, artist, scientist, writer, or simply someone eager to learn and explore, you have a place here. We encourage students to dive into the variety of opportunities available to them — break time clubs, inter school sports, school carnivals including swimming, athletics and cross country, and academic challenges — because it's not just about what students learn, but how they grow as a person along the way.
Starting at a new school can feel a bit overwhelming, but we want students to know that they are not alone. There are so many friendly faces around them — fellow students, teachers, and staff — who are here to support all students every step of the way. Building connections is an essential part of a school experience, and we hope students will form friendships that will last throughout their time at Wyndham Central College and beyond.
We can’t wait to see the amazing things our year 7’s will achieve, and we’re here to support them every step of the way.
Here's to an exciting year ahead for our graduating class of 2030!

Year Level Leader's Report - Year 7
Welcome to the Class of 2030!
The beginning of the school year has seen a warm and enthusiastic welcome to our Year 7 students. Teachers and staff members have worked tirelessly to create a welcoming environment, ensuring that our Year 7s have felt a sense of belonging from the very first day. This positive atmosphere has contributed to a smooth transition from Grade 6 and has fostered a strong sense of community within the school, this certainly sets a positive tone for the months and years ahead.
Already, the Year 7 students have demonstrated dedication to their learning, including more than 70% of student’s attendance 95% or above, and hundreds of recognitions of our Year 7s working in a positive, respectful, cooperative and excellent manner. Academic accomplishments, artistic endeavours, and sports triumphs will be celebrated with pride at our Year level assemblies and whole cohort Tutor Challenges – tunnel ball and water race. It's inspiring to see the enthusiasm and sense of pride of our students being recognized and applauded, this sets the stage for a year of continued success.
