January Holiday Program 

What an incredible start to the year! We can hardly believe it, but we’re already off and running into 2025. Even though school has only been back for two short weeks, the team at TheirCare, along with many eager children, have been at school since January 6th. And from the very first day, it’s been nothing but excitement, and tons of fun. We’ve had some truly unforgettable experiences, and we’re just getting started!The fun kicked off with a variety of thrilling excursions that had everyone buzzing with excitement. From an action-packed day at Archery Attack, where kids tested their aim and strategy skills, to the inspiring trip to the MCG, where we walked in the footsteps of sports legends, we’ve certainly kept things adventurous! But that’s not all—there were movie outings to enjoy the latest blockbusters on the big screen, rounds of mini-golf at Holey Moley, thrills on arcade machines at Archie Brothers, and a few heart-racing matches of Laser Tag, where we had some epic moments of friendly competition. Our adventures didn’t just stay outside the school grounds! Back on site, we brought the fun indoors with our Ocean Odyssey incursion, which took the kids on an unforgettable journey of discovery and creativity. With ocean-themed activities, they got to explore the wonders of the sea while diving into hands-on learning and imaginative play. There was something so special about seeing their faces light up as they learned and explored together.And speaking of creativity, we’ve had some amazing art projects already this year! The children got the chance to create their very own Bear Money Boxes and Octopus Plushies. The craftsmanship and imagination they put into these projects were inspiring. Every creation was a work of art, and we couldn’t have been prouder of how everyone expressed themselves.

Term 1

We've had such a wonderful start to Term 1! 

Over the past few weeks, we've been thrilled to welcome so many new faces into our service, and it's been a joy getting to know all the new children and their families. Each week we've explored a new theme, and here's a look at what we've covered so far:

• Week 1: ‘Safari Spectacular’
• Week 2: ‘Colour Pop’

These weeks have been filled with icebreakers, crafts, sports-based activities, and tactile play, creating an atmosphere of laughter and fun. Looking back at this past week, it's clear that the children's absolute favourite activity has been slime-making! Watching their faces light up as they chose colours and added glitter to make "the fluffiest slime ever" has been such a highlight.

We can't wait to see what the next few weeks have in store as we continue to explore, create, and grow together!

To ensure the safety and smooth operation of TheirCare, we kindly remind parents of the importance of managing bookings and cancellations for their children’s sessions. All bookings should be made through the FullyBooked platform.

If you need assistance with the booking process, please feel free to stop by the TheirCare room, and I will be happy to assist you.

Additionally, if your child is unwell or will be collected at the conclusion of the school day, please ensure you cancel their session through the FullyBooked application. If you are unable to access the app in a timely manner, you may contact me directly at 0487 011 573, and I can assist with cancelling the booking for you.
