The Boost Mobile Australian MTB Interschools Championships were held at Thredbo Mountain Bike Park, NSW, from 2–6 March 2026, bringing together riders from across the country to compete in Downhill, Flow, All-Mountain and Pump Track events.
Trinity was proudly represented, finishing 60th overall with 155 points - a commendable result at a national-level competition featuring large and highly competitive fields.
Kobe Peatey led the way for Trinity with an outstanding performance, contributing 97 points to the team total. After entering the Pump Track finals in first place, Kobe finished an impressive 6th overall. He was strongly supported by Oliver Prince, who added 29 points through consistent performances across the week.
Valuable contributions also came from Kasey Blair, Hunter Worthington, Lukas Bradford, Arden Farrell and Dian Scott, with additional efforts from Jack Bakes, William Castley and Cohen McCluskey highlighting a genuine whole-team performance across multiple divisions and disciplines. Competing at one of Australia’s premier mountain biking venues, all riders demonstrated determination, skill and sportsmanship, representing the College with pride.
I would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Adam Prince for his coordination and support of the Trinity team, along with the many parents who contributed to a successful and enjoyable week of competition.

This week, all eyes are on the School Sport Australia Triathlon and Aquathlon National Championships as Seb Wilson competes on the Gold Coast. The championships bring together the top young athletes from across Australia for several days of aquathlon and triathlon racing.
Seb earned his place on the NSW team following an outstanding performance at the NSW State Championships, and he has already made a strong start to the week. After Tuesday’s aquathlon event, Seb is sitting in an impressive 10th position individually.
Wednesday saw the excitement of the relay events, where Seb played a key role in the NSW team’s success. Competing in the run leg of the team relay, Seb helped NSW take out a gold medal. In the mixed relay event, where each athlete completes a full triathlon, the NSW team also delivered a strong performance to finish 5th overall.
We wish Seb the very best of luck for the final days of competition and look forward to hearing how he finishes up!

On Wednesday 18 March, a group of Trinity’s top U15 and Senior netballers travelled to Scots for trials for the RAS team, which will compete at the NSW CIS Netball Championships in May.
Congratulations to Tilly Smith, who was the only Trinity student selected for the team, and well done to all the girls for their outstanding effort and commitment during the trials.
Cruz Wayenberg recently travelled to Blacktown as a member of the NSW CIS Softball Team, competing in selection trials for the NSW PSSA team.
Following a strong performance, Cruz was rewarded with selection in the NSW All Schools Team, which will compete at the School Sport Australia Championships later in May.
Cruz will return to Blacktown for the national tournament, and we look forward to following his progress. Congratulations, Cruz, on this outstanding achievement.

Ethan Crisp has been selected to represent the U16 NSW Country team at this year’s National Championships - an outstanding achievement. Notably, Ethan has earned selection as a bottom-age player, a rare accomplishment that speaks to his determination, skill and work ethic.
Ethan will travel to Bendigo during the July holidays, where he will be part of the NSW Country team as they look to build on their 2025 success, having secured a bronze medal with a win over Western Australia.
Congratulations, Ethan, and we wish you every success at the Championships.
