2024 AusCycling - Track National Championships

State Team Selection

Congratulations to Chloe B- Yr7, and Hamish C-Yr12, for their selection to the Victorian State Track Team.  Both students are members of the Blackburn Cycling Club and have been training hard to secure a place in the team.

We would like to recognise the achievements of Hamish (Year 12, Melba) who recently represented Victoria at the Australian Cycling National Championships in Brisbane (1st - 5th March).

As a member of the Junior Under 19 Male Team, Hamish had a very successful meet, winning a silver medal in the Team Sprint and recording personal best times in the Flying 200 and the Individual Time Trial.

Well done Hamish on your success and we wish you the best in your future cycling endeavours.

National Cycling Championships

Chloe B will be riding for Victoria in the National Cycling Championship in Brisbane in March. She will be racing for Victoria – and be racing in the Victorian Kit. We wish her well and welcome any examples of students engaging in their own communities in their own pursuit of excellence. Well done Chloe!
