ACTING PRINCIPAL REPORT

Dear BSC Families,

Year 7 and Year 12 Camp

Last week we our Year 7 and Year 12 students and staff were on camp, and were undeterred by the hot weather and wild storm! Thank you to our staff members who attended the camp, it was pleasing to hear how much our students and staff enjoyed their time together.

School Council Nominations

Next week we will be opening up School Council nominations, for our parents and a student representative. Please keep an eye on Compass, if you are interested in nominating, we would love to see parents get involved to be part of our school council.

Upcoming Event:

Next Thursday we have our Year 7 Parent/Carer Orientation evening, we are looking forward to seeing parents/carers and sharing how our Year 7 students have transitioned into life at BSC, and also the opportunity for parents to meet.

Thank you all for your continued commitment to your child's education. 

School Tours are underway:

Today we took our third group of prospective parents and students on a tour of Brighton Secondary College.

Our Student Leaders have been championing these tours with the support of myself and Mr chalk who works closely with them as the Leading Teacher of Student Voice, Agency and Leadership.

The have represented the school beautifully and proudly, this is a true demonstration and testament of their passion and knowledge of the school. 

We would like to formally thank our leaders for supporting the school and each other.  We have had nothing but incredible feedback from the parents on how amazing and well presented they were as well as their willingness to answer any questions they may have had along the way.
